This small dome-top box looks like a miniature treasure chest. It's crafted from bone panels with a pale cream finish, hand-painted in fine black ink. A large blooming flower and curling leaves decorate the lid, and a flowing vine-and-leaf border runs across the front and sides, finished with bold scroll-dot trim and neat double-line edging. A round knob on the front opens the lid.
It's a good size for rings, earrings, small keepsakes, coins, or trinkets, and it looks equally at home on a dresser, desk, or shelf. It also makes a lovely gift.
